That
is why I created this blog- to ensure that teacher’s stay safe from
controversy. I want to reiterate and emphasize the significance of watching our
online behavior and being careful with how we use the Internet. In the time we
live in, Internet and technology keeps becoming bigger and bigger which means more
and more people are using it. With so much focus on the Internet, professionals
have to be extra careful with what they share with the rest of the world. It
has been found that bosses and other leaders/directors/administrators have used
the Internet to get to know “the real person" someone is. Individuals get fired
on a constant basis due to their lack of judgment of what they think is appropriate
to post over the Internet. Many people are naive and don’t realize that what
they post is able to be seen by anyone, even if their profile is set to
private. Because of the great impact that the Internet has over our world now,
professionals need to be extra careful maintaining their online profile and
watching their online behavior. The purpose of my blog is to remind us all of
this concept and to teach you the issues you must steer clear of as well as what you
can do to move forward and not find yourself stuck with any Internet dilemmas.
